Your State, Inexpensively

When we set about brainstorming ways to recreate FeedIndy on a national level, we knew Heather wouldn’t be doing grocery lists for other states. Simply going national by seeking out deals all over the country would lose the community feel that made the site so great. We also didn’t want it to be a simple link exchange. It needed to be more. It needed to be something very new—a network of people who could provide deals, tips and grocery store lists that are real and relevant in their own, local communities.

Thus, the Inexpensively network was born. Our goal is to provide a whole lifestyle concept for savings. We compile weekly lists for grocery store deals, suggest ideas on living your life for less, offer tips on finding the best savings and encourage our community to be charitable even on a budget. We connect a network of individuals from around the country to provide families with the most up to date and accurate savings tools in their own communities. In short, we encourage families to maximize their budgets so they can use some of their savings to help improve their neighborhood.

We provide community networks in 4 states—California, Georgia, Kentucky and Indiana. We have partnered with The Sassy Saver, Savings with Sadie, Frugal Femina and The Queen of Free to bring deals across the country, with the personal touch that creates the best grocery lists each week. We are also in the process of adding more states (watch for Ohio and Pennsylvania later this month through our new partners at Saving in Akron and For the Mommas) and hope to continue expansion throughout the year. In addition to providing deals for other locations, it brings new opportunities for savings as our contributing partners come with their own talents, interests and expertise.

Your state network will have everything you see at Inexpensively plus local deals, grocery matchups and state specific advice for savings. You can also follow your state on Twitter—@CAinexpensively, @GAinexpensively, @INinexpensively and @KYinexpensively. You’ll hear news & tips from your regional contributor as well as find deals specific to where you live. If your state isn’t yet included in our network community, you will still find plenty of advice and ideas to help you lower your budget (without lowering your standards) right here on Inexpensively. We will be able to accommodate more locations as our network expands. If you are a frugal blogger interested in joining our team, please apply as a network contributor.
