Home Slice Pizza Hosts Annual Carnival O’Pizza November 20th

November 17, 2010 at 1:32 pm Leave a Comment

I have a favorite pizza place in every city I’ve ever lived in (who doesn’t?). Chicago Pizza & Oven Grinders in Chicago (my husband and I love this restaurant so much, we had our wedding reception there!), Bazbeaux in Indianapolis, and now Home Slice Pizza in Austin.

This weekend, Home Slice Pizza is hosting their 5th annual Carnival O’Pizza!

Needless to say, this isn’t your typical carnival. Congress Ave. grinds to a halt for an extreme pizza eating contest, a state-wide pizza dough tossing contest, a gigantic raffle (with major prizes – like the perk of being the only person able to make reservations at Home Slice Pizza for a year!), live music, games for the kids, pizza galore, and so much more!

Not only is this big top of pizza fun for all ages, all process and beer tent tips benefit Habitat Young Professionals—a group of Austin young professionals that have made it their mission to support Austin Habitat for Humanity to the max.

Carnival O’Pizza
