When My Blog Spark asked my family to try the new reduced sugar kids’ cereals, I was thrilled—many General Mills cereals are naturally gluten free. We don’t buy them often, though, because I don’t like to start my girls’ day with so much sugar. It is nice to have some on hand for emergency rushed mornings so less sugar is great news!
They are starting with 4 cereals—Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Lucky Charms. The first two are gluten free, and my girls love Trix. (If only they were dye free as well!) Production is underway for the new formulas and we can’t wait to try them.
Their new commitment to reduce the sugar to single digits in cereals marketed to children under 12 fits in so nicely with our New Year, New Budget series. What a simple way to reduce sugar in your diet as you move to a healthier lifestyle. I am excited to share not only this information but a high value coupon for you to try it too! Print this coupon to save $1 off your choice of the 4 new cereals.
There are numerous products and tools designed to help you live your life. Some will work, while others won’t. Each Tuesday, we’ll share something we’ve tried so you won’t have to spend money until you know it’s worth it! Our selections usually include items that will also save your family money while others will save you time or just make your inexpensive life easier to manage. The four VIP coupons I received, information, and online coupon link have all been provided by General Mills through My Blog Spark to try this product, but the opinion is 100% real.
