Marsh Triple Coupon Savings

When I saw the triple coupon offer for Marsh, I was unbelievably excited. We haven’t had triple coupons in the Indy area for many years. It used to come around almost every month, and I’d stock up on the basics each time. My grocery budget was severely affected by the elimination of triple coupon offers. I really hope this is a sign of things to come because my evening shopping trip went very well! (I only missed out on a few deals by waiting until later in the day—I am not a morning person.)

I ended up with an overflowing cart and 7 reusable grocery bags full of food. Once I sorted through the bargains, I pulled out all the gluten-filled goods and filled 2 paper bags for Shannon’s holiday challenge. Tomorrow, I’ll drop off 4 large cans of chili beans, 1 pancake mix, 6 pizza crust mixes, 2 cookie mixes, 3 bread mixes and 2 cans of fruit. I’m not sure it completely feeds a family for a day, but it’s a good start. Some of my favorite deals: free Tony’s pizza pouches, free Nesquick chocolate milk, $.19 Arnold bread (for the hubby’s turkey leftovers!), free Blistex and $.35 Reynold’s baking cups (1 birthday down, 2 to go!). The bottom line: $270.75 worth of groceries for $84 even! That includes over $100 in coupon savings—I dare someone to tell me they don’t use coupons because it doesn’t save much money.

Love it! That is exactly why I love Harris Teeter triples and super doubles! I am hoping for super doubles next week, we will see! Isn’t it so exciting to get home with so many groceries knowing you saved so much money?
