I never know what to do with the kids on Halloween. Our street is a dead end, so there aren’t many houses to hit up for Trick or Treating. We head over to my sister’s neighborhood to do some more with all the cousins. This year, though, we may just take the trip to Stony Brook to participate in the festival IF the weather permits! Meaning, no rain!

Which of course, made me think of all my readers, members and fans! If you want something fun to do on Halloween, head down to Stony Brook Village Center on October 31, 2010. There’s a free event taking place between 2pm and 5pm! Visit all the shops for trick or treating, get a free mini pumpkin, play games such as been bag toss, potato sack race and spider ring toss.  Check out the Spotlight Dance Academy performance, meet Walkie Bear from WALK-FM Radio and don’t forget the Children’s Costume parade with Monster Merlin.

There’s even a scarecrow competition, where the cash prizes will be handed out at 3pm.

For more information call 631.751.2244. You can also see the flyer for all these details, click here –> Halloween Festival
