Austin Restaurant Week September 19-22 & 26-29

September 9, 2010 at 10:05 am 2 Comments

No matter what city I lived in, I have always taken advantage of Restaurant Week. Whether you’re a new resident (that’s me!) or a long time local, Restaurant Week is a fabulous way to dine at your city’s finest establishments for a fraction of the cost.

Austin has an amazing restaurant scene full of exciting cuisine and Texas favorites, so you better believe I’ve had Austin Restaurant Week on my calendar for months!

This fall, Austin Restaurant Week benefits the Sustainable Food Center and is presented by RISE (a FREE conference for local entrepreneurs—check it out!). Austin Restaurant Week runs from September 19th – 22nd and 26th – 29th and prices range from $10 – $15 for lunch and $25 – $35 for a three-course pre-fixe dinner menu. With restaurants ranging form Sandra Bullock’s Bess Bistro to Perla’s Seafood & Steakhouse, recently featured on No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, there is something for everyone – you can even search restaurants by gluten-free and vegetarian!

View all the participating restaurants at www.restaurantweekaustin.com and make your reservations ASAP! You can also follow AustinRestWeek on Twitter for all the latest Restaurant Week news and information on future events.

Sounds like a plan! I’d love to try new restaurants all week and know that my eating was helping charity. It’s a win – win. So can I come visit and join you? 🙂
