One awesome thing that I just love about the Internet is that with it you can get plenty of useful stuff for free, legally. Nothing beats free stuff which is really and truly free.
The only thing to watch out for is scam: be sure to only use trusted sources that list legit and valid offers.
Here are 5 things you never need to pay for again:
1. T-shirts
Surprised? Don’t be. Today it’s a normal thing to offer a free t-shirt for anything: completing the form, signing up for a demo account, wearing a company’s logo, etc.
ListFreeSamples.com has a ton of free t-shirts being offered right now. The site uses only official sources of freebies, so they all should be legit:
2. Shipping
I love shopping online because it is mush faster and you don’t need to drive anywhere (and spend time, gas, etc). And the fact that I can shop from home AND get it delivered for free is just awesome.
Check out FreeShipping.org for the huge collection (currently over 2000 stores in various categories) of sellers that will ship anything to you for free:
3. Games
If your kid wants an expensive game you can’t afford, suggest him choosing some free alternative. Luckily, the Internet has a couple of resources listing absolutely family-friendly online games and offering them for free.
Here are just a few of them:
4. Household Goods
Not all of them actually, but you can get some really unique and useful household stuff for free. Freecycle is one awesome place you want to check out: it is is made up of about 5, 000 groups uniting members from across the globe.
It’s a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns and thus keeping good stuff out of landfills.
5. Free Music
This is not about online piracy, don’t worry. In fact this is actually about legally free music you will love to listen to when you are near your computer or through your iPhone or Blackberry
- Blip.FM
- Pandora Radio (US-only)
- Slacker.com (US-only)
Do you love freebies? What are your favorite places to get some cool thing for free?

Gotta add to the free music list…
There’s always *the radio*.

I use freecycle a lot and love it. Usually I try to ask for big items, as the gas money and time to get something small doesn’t make it worth the effort. I got a wardrobe, kitchen mixer… and also gave stuff when I was moving out.
