Christmas Events in Central Virginia

  • Bethlehem Alive – a re-enactment of the village of Bethlehem, located on Afton Mountain.  Admission is FREE!  
  • Miracle of Christmas – Live at the Zoo:  at the Richmond Metro Zoo, a live re-enactment of the Christmas story, with animals from the zoo. 
  • Gardenfest of Lights – at the Botanical Gardens in Richmond.  More than half a million lights arranged through the gardens.   
  • The Nutcracker – in Orange. There are still a few shows left.
  • A Christmas Story play – at Four County Players   
  • Living Nativity – Lake Christian Church in Palmyra. Dec 11th/12th at 6pm.
