Wimberley, TX, is located about halfway between Austin and San Antonio off of I-35 and is home to Wimberley Market Days – the place to be the first Saturday of every month (May-December).
Over 475 vendors offer everything you can’t live without, including antiques, collectibles, handmade items, fresh baked pastries, produce, and more. Concession stands are sprinkled throughout the market serving hot BBQ and iced tea, and local bands perform live to give you a little shopping music.
There’s also funnel cakes. What’s not to love about digging through junk while eating funnel cakes?!
Market Days is organized by the Lions Club and all proceeds from booth rentals, concessions and parking are donated back to local, state and worldwide charities, scholarships and community projects. It’s a great way to support local businesses while giving back to the community and enjoying the Texas sunshine with your family!
Open 7:00am – 4:00pm 1st Saturday of each month March – December
Admission is free; Parking is $5 donation
I just learned about Wimberley Market Days, so I haven’t been, but the next one is coming up quick – Saturday, October 2nd – and I am beyond excited.
Have you been to Wimberley Market Days? Want go with me this October?!
