Bonus Box Tops for Education: Kroger Gift Card Giveaway

February 3, 2010 at 8:49 am

When our children were still attending the local elementary school, we furiously clipped & submitted Box Tops for Education. There were prizes to be won, and money sent to the school for much needed supplies. Our current school isn’t eligible, but I still clip the Box Tops on all our General Mills products.

Now, it is my best friend’s daughter who reaps the rewards. Not only does the school get $.10 per box top, but she gets to help her class earn a pizza or ice cream party by collecting the most Box Tops for Education. She’ll be very excited to hear about this new program at Kroger. Register to Reward Your School to start receiving bonus offers from General Mills.

You’ll receive 5 Box Tops just for signing up, plus custom offers for bonus box tops when you purchase specific General Mills products. The offers you choose are loaded onto your Kroger Plus card, and the money will be sent to the school of your choice automatically—no packages to clip for your bonus deals, as long as you scan your Kroger plus card when making the purchase.

Through March 18th, you can earn 3, 4 or 5 bonus Box Tops for Education when you buy participating quantities of the following products:

  • General Mills Cereals: Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, , Cookie Crisp Sprinkles, Trix, Reese’s Puffs, Cookie Crisp, Golden Grahams, Kix, Fruity Cheerios, Dora the Explorer, Honey Kix, and all varieties of Cascadian Farm
  • Yoplait Kids: Yoplait Kids Yogurt Drink, Yoplait Go-GURT, Yoplait Kids Lowfat Yogurt, and Yoplait Trix Lowfat Yogurt
  • Pillsbury: 8 ct. packages of all varieties of Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits, Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls, Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls, Pillsbury Flaky Twists, and Pillsbury Sweet Rolls

And, now…General Mills wants to give you a $25 gift card so you can start stocking up! Simply leave a comment here, letting us know you’ve registered to Reward Your School. You can earn additional entries by:

  • Subscribing to our site by email or RSS
  • Following Inexpensively on Twitter
  • Writing about this giveaway (blog, forum, public Facebook note)
  • Tweeting about this giveaway: Win a $25 Kroger gift card from @Inexpensively! {link}

For your extra entries to be counted, be sure to leave an additional comment directing us to your entry. Only one additional entry per method (i.e. While multiple tweets are appreciated it, only one will count as a drawing entry.) The contest runs until February 10th at 11:59pm est. One winner will be notified by email on February 11th and receive a$25 Kroger gift card. Winner will have 48 hours to complete the claim form or a new winner will be chosen.

General Mills, though My Blog Spark, has provided me with a gift card for sharing the information with you, and hosting this giveaway.
