I have five young children and they’re pretty expensive to feed, much less keep clothed and entertained so I love finding great frugal tips from others. This weekend wrapup is all about saving more money when you’ve got kids, and I found some terrific frugal tips around the blogosphere.
Staci gave us some tips for saving on halloween costumes and candy here on Inexpensively, and she wrote about how to save money when buying clothes for children at her November Sunflower blog.
April at Christian Clippers gives us an updated list of store coupons for in-store and online use if you’re planning any shopping, with quite a few coupons for children’s stores, plus she has a list of restaurant coupons that you should checkout before you eat out.
There is some great information on family friendly travel destinations at Live Well For Less, and the Queen of Free tells us how to decorate for fall on a dime. This is my favorite time of the year, and it’s always a very exciting time for the kids because they know that the holidays are coming.
If you need to save up and get ready, then check out Kristi’s post on five ways to make extra money for the holidays. If you have younger children, or there are some on your gift list, you may also want to check out my post on how to make your own play dough and “moon sand”.

All great tips, Denise. Thanks for recapping and sharing!
