*SPOILER ALERT* $20 coupon for Fisher-Price at the end of this post. 🙂
Ok, so I was absolutely overjoyed when a package from Fisher-Price and BSM Media showed up on my step a couple of weeks ago. And then, another package came. Double joy. I’ve mentioned more than once before I LOVE Fisher-Price products because they’re both durable and timeless. Some of the Eldest Princess’ baby toys (keep in mind she’s well over 7) look BRAND NEW now that her younger sister (aged 18 months) is able to play with them. Two of Fisher-Price’s newest toy items for the holiday season did not disappoint me once we got the chance to play with them.
The Go Baby Go Stride to Ride Lion simply makes me giggle. And he giggles and “rawrs” right back at you, too (The King thinks he kind of sounds like Snagglepus, even.). He’s perfect for your little prince or princess who is learning to walk and loves to roll around the house You can take the tiger by the tail by riding this lion on its back, too (mixed metaphor, perhaps). He’s just plain adorable.
My absolute favorite new Fisher-Price toy is the Laugh & Learn Learning Farm. I’m super proud of myself for putting this one together, all by myself (color me Mrs. Fixit). Even the Eldest Princess exclaimed “That thing is awesome!” when she first saw it. Here are my favorite mommy features – Music, Learning, and Sound Effect settings, volume control (A MUST!), a handle on top of the entire frame so you can easily move it from room to room, the fact that a child from 6 months all the way up to to 3 years (or maybe even 7!) will be amazed by all of the interactive play. And I mustn’t forget the fact that there are two sides to this badboy. So if you have more than one little prince or princess, they can play at the same time, learning to share without even knowing it! And did I mention you can feed. the. cow. It’s the Youngest Princess’ favorite thing to do! Personally, I love changing the radio stations. 🙂
When it comes to baby toys, I’d rather spend a few more dollars and get something that will last for the long haul than something that will easily be old news and/or broken in only six months. And so even though these toys aren’t “discount” items, I still think they’re worth the investment (or at least a good bid for the “grandma” list) this Christmas. Here in the Queendom, our kiddos get only 3 gifts each year for Christmas. One is usually a larger gift and the other two are minor (usually a big toy, a book, and a smaller toy). It helps to keep us from spending too much and from having too much (not to mention having to much to store, clean, and pick up!).
And in case you want one of these toys to land on your child’s wishlist this Holiday Season, Fisher-Price has a $20/$100 Coupon available to you right now! Be sure to share it with Grandma before she already has all of your little princes’ and princesses’ gifts wrapped and under the tree. Now, I’m back to playing on the floor while exclaiming to the Youngest Princess that she has once again “Left her barn door wide open.” Is it odd that I crack myself up and laugh loudly while here with only an 18 month old?
There are numerous products and tools designed to help you live your life. Some will work, while others won’t. Each Tuesday, we’ll share something we’ve tried so you won’t have to spend money until you know it’s worth it! Our selections usually include items that will also save your family money while others will save you time or just make your inexpensive life easier to manage. BSM Media provided me with a Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Stride to Ride Lion and Laugh and Learn Learning Farm to review. No monies were received for this review nor was it edited by representatives of Fisher-Price, BSM Media or any other PR company. I always give you my honest opinion regarding products so you can make an informed purchase decision.
