Giveaway: Target Gift Card

We are thrilled to partner with frugal bloggers across the country, including Lisa Sadie. Lisa is a relative newcomer in the world of blogging, but she has turned her love of savings, generous spirit and excellent work ethic into a great resource. We are thrilled to have her join our team as a Georgia Inexpensively Contributor. Watch for her tips on gardening & travel as well as deals & offers from St. Simon island and beyond.

Lisa’s generosity carries over to Inexpensively as she has offered a $25 Target gift card to one of our readers. Please visit Savings with Sadie, then come back here and tell me something you learned from her site. (Entries of the “pick me” variety will be disqualified.) You can also earn additional entries by blogging or tweeting about this giveaway (be sure to leave a separate comment with the link to each additional entry).

The contest runs from July 30th to August 1st at 11:59pm. One winner will be notified by email on August 2nd (as selected by Random.org) and must reply with their mailing address within 48 hours or a new winner will be chosen. Open only to residents of the U.S. and cannot be shipped to PO boxes.

Sadie posts gardening deals, and has a whole category for them! That’s exciting for me.

Also, I learned that Sadie lives very near to where my parents got married :)

I LOVE!!! the coupon matchups that Sadie’s site has!! I have always meant to scour the grocery ads and try to match coupons I have with sales but never been able to. This does it for me!!! now maybe I’ll finally be able to put my coupon clipping days to good use!!

  • Priya Bradfield July 30, 2009 @12:01PM

The coupon matchups are great! I think they are for GA mostly, but it still gives me an idea of what could be on sale and worth checking out here in CA too.

Our California contributor is The Sassy Saver. We feature her deals and grocery matchups at California Inexpensively.

  • Kayla July 30, 2009 @12:21PM

  • Tracey R August 01, 2009 @10:45AM

I didn’t know that Target has a Daily Deal alert! I also am amazed that she has found the coupon insert schedule a whole year in advance! That’s amazing. And it will be a help when I’m culling old newspapers, to know which inserts I should be searching for.

  • ConfessionsMom August 01, 2009 @1:10PM

I visited Savings with Sadie and read through her gardening page. She has posts about garden club and fungus eating her yard. Yikes.

  • Joy August 01, 2009 @6:45PM

I love the gardening deals. We are moving into a new house so it is very helpful.

  • Kari August 01, 2009 @7:53PM

I liked how everything was short and to the point. With some savings blogs I get bogged down in all the “extras” I loose track of the meaning. Anyways, it was to the point. her Friday Freebies Galore was great too! Quick & Easy reference point for free offers.

  • Gena August 01, 2009 @8:10PM

I learned that she consistently offers links to some really great deals.

  • Xenia August 01, 2009 @8:30PM

The 2009 Coupon Schedule was surprising to me, I had no idea that you could see in advance what coupons are going to come out… and tomorrow there are a whole lot! Great site!

  • Paula H August 01, 2009 @10:22PM

I learned that During August, the first time you use your CVS Extra Care card, a coupon will print at the bottom of your receipt for a free gift. That’s cool. I’m glad for the heads up!

  • Jenny August 01, 2009 @10:52PM

    I learned about Friday freebies!

  • Leane August 01, 2009 @10:54PM

I learned about a great coupon insert coming out in tomorrow’s paper. I added Saving with Sadie to my toolbar bookmarks so I can keep up with the great deals she finds. I am actually new to couponing, but I am already saving so much. I can’t wait to save even more. Saving with Sadie site looks like an excellent resource for info to save even more for my family. Thanks so much for the connection to her site and also for this great giveaway!!! I would spend my GC on some diapers, or maybe some of those great kids clothes on the clearance rack.

  • Sharon Clark August 01, 2009 @11:06PM

I learned that CVS is giving a free gift with your first August purchase with the extra card. I was using ECB for awhile, but I’ve fallen off the wagon. Maybe I need to get back into it.

thanks! ruth dot gray at gmail dot com
