| Issue Date/ Source | The source of each coupon will be listed in the left column. Visit Source Codes and Abbreviations for details. |
| Details | Column 2 describes each sale item, including variety and size when available. |
| Sale Price | The advertised price of the sale item will be listed or estimated (in cases where the store ad lists only a percentage or discount without stating the actual price of the item) in column 3. |
| Value/ Quantity | Column 4 lists the coupon face value and the purchase quantity required for use. |
| Store Coupon | Any applicable store coupon value will be listed in column 5. |
| Savings | The total savings column includes double/triple coupon values (as applicable) and the store coupon discount. |
| Final Price | Column 7 lists the final price after all coupons have been deducted. |
| Percentage Saved | The final column showcases the percentage saved over the regular price of each item. |
Now that you know how to read the lists, saving big at the grocery store is easy!
- Save the coupons from the Sunday newspaper
(Buy extra copies to save even more!) and All You magazine.
- Visit Inexpensively each week. Click on Grocery Best Buys and select your favorite store.
- Click on one of the column headings to sort the list however you wish (choose Details for an alphabetical listing or Source to sort by insert).
- Clip the listed coupons for the items you wish to purchase.
- Organize your clipped coupons in the order you plan to shop. This doesn’t have to be exact, but it will help you get through the store quickly.
- Visit the store, buying only what is on your list, and save!
