Today, Meijer announced their newest savings program—mPerks. This new mobile coupon program allows you to login & select digital coupons. Coupons include both Meijer products amp; name brands.
You’ll even get a $2 off $25 purchase coupon just for signing up!
At first, I thought it would be replacing Meijer Mealbox coupons, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. The printable, store coupon widget is still active! The announcement doesn’t make it clear whether mPerks offers will be treated as a Meijer coupon or a manufacturer’s coupon—but the site does show that you’ll enter your mobile phone number at the checkout just before paying.
I’ll be trying it out this week with my regular grocery shopping, and please let me know about your experiences, too!

Interesting! We don’t have Meijer in Austin, but it would be very convenient to have store coupons linked to your cell to stack at checkout.

No Meijer here in Phx either, but I’m with Corrin that it would be cool to have the mobile capability. If it’s a store coupon I wouldn’t see why it couldn’t stack with a MFG given their coupon policy of one MFG and one store coupon. Thanks kind of why I like these goofy loyalty cards at our stores, it’s all computerized and seamless.
Can’t wait to hear b/c it could be the start of something.
What’s the policy with Target? They have mobile coupons.

Interesting… we just had a new Meijer open up about 10 minutes from our house but I haven’t had a chance to shop there yet. This sounds like a great program though so I will have to check it out. Thanks! 🙂
