I’m sure you’ve seen ads for these e-books around the web. I know I have, so I decided to check it out. When you download the free pdf, you’ll receive instructions for a variety of handmade Valentine’s Day gifts. Many of them can even be crafted with items you already have lying around the house! Activities range in difficulty from simple, glue crafts a toddler could do all the way up to crocheted items I’m sure I’ll never master.
I think my favorite is this conversation heart picture frame. I get roped into buying a package of Valentine hears every year, but does anyone actually eat these things? My girls like to use them for crafts—the cute phrases make the most unique Valentine’s Day cards. In fact, I have a huge bag of Twilight inspired conversation hearts my oldest is planning to use for her class cards. I love finding fun ways to use things we already have at home. Plus, it gives us something to do with a traditional treat no one ever eats.
Are you making any holiday crafts of your own for this weekend? If you’ve got other ways to use up these conversation hearts, please let me know! If you need a few ideas, click here to download the free e-books from FaveCrafts. They have 2 free offers: Cupid’s Handmade Crafts eBook and Valentine’s Day Crafts from Famous Bloggers.
