I don’t tend to eat out a lot, partly because it’s less expensive to cook at home and partly because it’s so much easier on our gluten free lifestyle to make everything myself. However, there are so many deals going right now that I’m ready to take a week off from cooking!

Here are a few printable coupons & offers for your dining pleasure:

Burger King: Signup for their Royal Customer loyalty program to receive special offers by email, including a Buy 1, Get 1 free Whopper coupon. These are only good at Heartland Food Corp-owned locations, and not franchises. The same locations are also offering $.69 hamburgers & $.79 cheeseburgers on Tuesdays with no coupon required! The Burger Kings near me are all franchised, so I can’t pay them on Tuesday for a hamburger today. Or, something like that.

Chili’s: Free chips & queso when you join their email club and print the coupon. You can also register the last 4 digits of the credit card you use when dining to receive a 2nd coupon for a free appetizer, plus tailored offers based on your habits. (This is optional but sounds a lot like grocery store loyalty card tracking—could make for some great deals down the road!)

Daily Deal Sites: There are just so many of them anymore—it’s getting hard to keep up—but, the values are so incredible that it’s totally worth it! They feature more than just restaurants, but I do find a lot of dining deals each week. Things like a $25 gift certificate for just $10! It doesn’t take much time for me to quickly delete emails when it’s not something I will use, but I have found so many treasures. Try Groupon, Savvy Source, EverSave & Adility for deals in your area.

Entertainment Book: The 2011 coupon booklet is out and always has great deals for local dining, entertainment & shopping. Many of the coupons in this book are buy 1, get 1 free deals—it can pay for itself with just a few coupons!

TGI Friday’s: Free appetizer with purchase of any entree with this printable coupon. The offer is valid from 4-9pm through September 8th. (Try the Tuscan Spinach Dip & get back to me—it looks yummy!)

mPerks: Meijer Mobile Coupons

Today, Meijer announced their newest savings program—mPerks. This new mobile coupon program allows you to login & select digital coupons. Coupons include both Meijer products amp; name brands. You’ll even get a $2 off $25 purchase coupon just for signing up! At first, I thought it would be replacing Meijer Mealbox coupons, but that doesn’t [...]

How To Grill a Pizza

One of our girls’ favorite grilled treats is pizza. Partly, because we don’t get to eat a lot of pizza. I usually have to make our gluten free crust from scratch. Plus, it’s so much fun to eat pizza with grill marks on the crust, and I’m always up for an excuse to cook outside [...]

Playing Catch-Up

Earlier this summer, I experienced an eye emergency, resulting in a procedure that makes it difficult to spend long periods of time at the computer. Coupled with having all 3 girls home from school, I’ve gotten way behind on everything. From laundry to dating the hubby to compiling grocery lists, things are really slipping through [...]

Fuel Efficiency Tips from Chevy

I am still recovering from a very fun, completely exhausting blogging conference where I was able to connect with new companies to bring you tips & special offers to help lower your budget. One of those companies was Chevrolet. They sponsored several carpools to BlogHer, and I was lucky enough to tag along with some [...]

Today is the first day of school for the public school system in my area. My Facebook stream is filled with pictures of children, excitedly sporting their new backpacks filled to overflowing with new school supplies. My own girls start back in just 13 days (not that I’m counting or anything). Next, they’ll all be [...]
