Money Saving Monday: Coupon Storage

money-saving-mondayThere are just so many ways to store and organize coupons—everyone seems to have a different method, and today on Money Saving Monday we want to hear about yours! I have experimented with several different storage and organizational systems over the years. Honestly, I am still in search of just the right fit for me and my lifestyle. I can’t wait to hear all of your ideas!

For the last several years, I have used the file folder system—only clipping coupons as I needed to use them at the store. This is the fastest, simplest way to coupon. You don’t waste a lot of time cutting coupons you may or may not use, but you also don’t have coupons on hand at the store for spur of the moment bargains. However, the time saved over storing individual coupons was worth more to me than the the deals I missed. Now that Stacia has joined her sister at the Montessori school, we’ve had to make some serious budget cuts. We’re back to having more time than money. I am currently revamping my coupon binder in hopes of lowering our grocery budget.

Now, we want to hear your own ideas! The rules are simple: write about saving money on the given topic, mention MSM and link back to Inexpensively in your post, then come back here to add your permalink in the Mr. Linky. Be sure to grab the banner to let everyone know you’re participating! If you do not have a blog of your own, you are welcome to share your tips in the comments. Then, check out the great tips from our contributors and readers. Don’t forget to come back next week to share your stories, tips and strategies for Black Friday—only 11 days to the biggest shopping day of the year! Are you ready?
