Gift Giving Inexpensively

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

Gift giving can be done inexpensively, with a little creativity and use of your art of couponing talents.

One of my favorite gifts to give at a baby shower is an essentials kit& diapers, wipes, rash cream, Orajel, baby bath, lotion and anything else you might find in the baby aisle. New moms get so many clothes, blankets, pacifiers and bottles, then find themselves wandering the pharmacy, scrambling for basics when they eventually need something.

My cousin still talks about the huge gift set I put together for her when she was pregnant 6 years ago. And, I did it because we were on a tight budget but I could find a lot of baby needs with my coupons. I spent less than I normally would have for a shower gift, while the mom-to-be received more than she ever expected.

Arrange the goodies in a laundry basket or toy bin to provide yet another gift Mom has no idea she needs! I have also purchased the diaper bag off her registry & filled it with everything she’d need. If you really want to get fancy, you can create a diaper cake—featuring sample sizes of your favorite baby products for the diaper bag.

Boudreaux’s Butt Paste is always on my shopping list for this gift. It was one of the few diaper rash creams that worked on my girls. Not only was it effective & easy to wipe clean when the time came, but it’s called butt paste. Butt. Paste. The twelve-year-old in my loves that.

Right now, you can find a $2 coupon in the 4/11 Smart Source insert—with no size restrictions! Grab the 1-oz size for travel use. Plus, you’ll find instructions at ButtPaste.com to send away for a free sample. You’ll mail your SASE to Indiana—I had no idea it was a local company.

What are your favorite frugal shower gifts?
