“Giving Inexpensively” Introduction

I am excited to tell you all about the new weekly feature here at Inexpensively.com called “Giving Inexpensively”. Every Thursday I will be sharing a way that you can give to others or support charities without having to take out a second mortgage on your home.

I am brimming with ideas (I already have over two months of post ideas written down) but also know that there are so many programs out there that I have never heard of and that’s where you can help.

-Know a charity that is looking for support?

-Know a special charity “awareness” day coming up?

-Know a program that helps soldiers, widows, children, the homeless, etc…?

-Know of any ways to raise money for charities without giving a monetary donation?

I’d love to hear your thoughts. You can reach out to me on twitter @aliciamarie112 or via email at aliciamarie112 {at} hotmail {dot} com. I look forward to learning more about giving from you all and sharing ways we can help others with limited resources.

  • Sounds like a great feature! Tutoring a child can be a way of giving inexpensively.

    Hey Alicia,

This sounds like a great idea. The only real local charity I can think of is a local centre run by my church for the homeless. They help feed and clothe those in need and provide a safe place for them to go when it’s cold.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Guy
