Great ideas Sherri! My mom uses jars to make candles in too. She makes the soy based candles. Everyone loves them! I also bake zucchini bread in mini loaves and give that out. Unfortunately, we had a poor garden this year. I usually grate the zucchini from our garden and freeze it for the bread. I will have to use store bought this year though.
Thanks for sharing!

I am using recycled dip/sauce jars and making candles for friends/family. I'm using recycled baby food jars as containers for a homemade lotion for the gal pals. Will be using recycled Starbucks frap coffee bottles for treat jars to give my student workers at the office. Making my sister a burlap table runner. Baking up banana bread for the bosses. Pretty much my entire Christmas list is getting home made gifts of some type! I've listed a few on my blog already. More to come! Like that lotion 'recipe'.
